The University of Iowa Dance Marathon creates and sustains special projects to provide emotional and financial support for pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant patients and their families treated at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. Our Big Event is a 24 hour event where we celebrate the survivors and remember the kiddos who are dancing in our hearts. Volunteers will sign up for however many 2 hour shifts they desire during the 24 hours. Volunteer stations include: Bag Check, Meals, Snack Shack, Family Room, and VIP/Visitor/Volunteer Check-In!
