Blood Drive UIHC Medical Center Downtown

The DeGowin Blood Center is hosting a blood drive from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27th, 2026 at UIHC Medical Center Downtown - Atrium. REGISTER HERE <Make an Appointment - DeGowin Blood Center>

When donating, remember to:
• Provide a photo ID
• Drink plenty of fluids and have a good meal before you donate
• Be free of cold or flu symptoms for five days
• Bring a list of the medications you take
• Bring a list of the places and dates you have traveled outside the U.S. within the last three year

Whole blood donations take about 45 to 60 minutes.
