In 8th grade students explore careers based on their skillset and interests, and learn how to develop a budget. At Financial Literacy Fair they make financial choices based on their chosen career starting salary. As a Fair volunteer you talk with students about financial choices like transportation, housing, insurance, etc. Once the students complete their budget they meet with a financial counselor to discuss this virtual reality experience. A brief training is provided – No experience necessary. |
