Volunteer: Book Sale VolunteersThe annual Shelter House Book Sale will be held on March 28th and March 29th at 860 Quarry Road Coralville, IA. There will be thousands of gently used books plus music, movies, etc. All proceeds will benefit Shelter House. In order to put on a successful event, we will need many volunteers during the weeks leading up to the sale to help sort and organize all incoming book donations and prepare the space. We will also need dedicated volunteers to assist during both dates of the sale and immediately after for tear down. Volunteer: Job Lab Volunteer2-hour shifts are available 8am – 10am, Monday – Thursday to help individuals search for employment opportunities online, apply for jobs, create resumes, and practice interview skills. Job Lab volunteers must be comfortable working one-on-one and proficient in technology. Resume writing skills are helpful but not required. This position works closely with our Employment Case Manager and VISTA Employment Coach.
